Shipping
1. Dispatch Times
All orders are shipped within 1-2 business days. You will receive a confirmation and tracking number via email once your order has been shipped. In the event of any delays in dispatch times (holidays, weather, etc.), we will notify you via email. Processing is 1-2 business days and transit 3-6 business days for domestic orders. International delivery typically takes 7-21 business days depending on location and customs processing.
2. Shipping Rates
- Free shipping on all domestic orders over $200
- Shipping rates for orders under $200 are calculated at checkout based on your location and order weight
- International shipping rates are calculated at checkout
- Expedited shipping options (faster delivery) are available at checkout for an additional fee
3. Customs Fees
Customs charges may apply on international purchases. The customer is responsible for paying these charges. If customs fees are unpaid and the order is returned to us, the buyer will only be refunded 75% of the order value due to admin fees. Returns will not be accepted based on unpaid customs fees.
4. Returned Packages
If an order is returned to Shutterbugs due to an incomplete address, we will reach out to the customer for the correct address. The customer must pay for a new shipping label if an order is returned to us.
5. Lost or Stolen Packages
Shutterbugs is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or misdelivered. If your tracking shows delivered but you haven't received your package, please contact USPS directly to file a claim.
6. Damaged in Transit
If your package arrives damaged, please take photos of both the packaging and contents immediately upon receipt and contact us at info@shopshutterbugs.com within 48 hours. We'll work with USPS to file a claim on your behalf.
7. Gifted Orders
If you're shipping a gift to a different address, please double-check the recipient's address at checkout. We cannot reroute packages once shipped.

1. Return policy
Shutterbugs professionally tests and restores every camera that’s sold. However, with the nature of vintage electronics, sometimes things go wrong that are completely out of our control. We will be happy to accept any returns for faulty or damaged items within 14 days of delivery. A request for a refund or exchange must be submitted within 14 days of receiving your order along with a description and photo/video proof of the issue.
The item(s) must be in original condition with any of the original accessories included. Any items that appear to have been damaged or altered in any way will be refused. Please take care when handling cameras as we cannot accept any items that have been damaged after delivery. The item(s) must be returned to us before the refund or exchange can be issued. The ability to fulfill exchange requests will be subject to the availability of cameras at the time the return is received for processing
We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for reasons such as :
• Breaking your camera
• Purchasing by accident
• Not knowing how to use your camera
• Change of mind or not liking your camera
• Damage that happens after it’s arrived safely
Organizing a Return
If you've met the above requirements, submit a Return Request by emailing us at info@shopshutterbugs.com within 14 days of delivery. Your email must include:
- Order number
- Full name used on the order
- Reason for the return
- Clear photos of the item showing the issue
- A video demonstrating the defect or malfunction
- Photos of the original packaging if the item arrived damaged
We will respond within 1-2 business days with next steps, including the return shipping address. Please note: Do not ship the item back until you've received return approval and instructions from us. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted or refunded.
Cost of Return
The shipping cost of returned item(s) for an exchange or refund is not covered or reimbursed by us. The customer is responsible for the shipping costs. To avoid issues, we ask that you use tracked shipping and safely package the item(s). We will not refund returned items that do not arrive back in their original condition, have been altered in any way, or are lost in transit
Refund Processing Time
Once your return is received and inspected, refunds are processed within 3-5 business days. Please allow an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your original payment method, depending on your bank.
Cancellation Requests
If you wish to cancel your order, you must send an email within 24 hours of placing your order. Cancelled orders will incur a 2.5% + $0.50 charge on their total refund amount.
Disclaimer
All cameras sold by Shutterbugs are pre-loved. Our cameras are used and may show signs of wear and cosmetic imperfections. Major signs of use will always be noted in the description and shown in product photos. By purchasing from Shutterbugs, the customer acknowledges they are buying a pre-owned vintage electronic item. While every camera is tested and serviced, vintage electronics carry inherent risks of eventual component failure due to age. Our 14-day return window covers initial defects but does not extend to long-term durability due to the "as-is" nature of vintage electronics.
Testing
Shutterbugs guarantees the working condition of all products sold. Each item is carefully tested and serviced by our team of technicians. Every camera is tested for a final time prior to shipment and this process is filmed. Customers may request test footage if there's any question about the condition at the time of shipping.
Authenticity
All cameras are authentic vintage/pre-owned electronics. Serial numbers and model numbers are verified before listing and available on the unit.
Stocking
In the rare event of a stocking issue or if an item becomes unavailable after order placement, we will contact you to offer a substitute or full refund.
Buyer responsibility
Customers are responsible for researching proper use of their purchased camera, including battery care, storage, memory card compatibility, and safe handling. Tutorial resources are available on our TikTok and Instagram.Chargebacks
Chargebacks filed without first contacting us for resolution will be disputed. We are committed to resolving all customer concerns directly.
